At the age of three Wendy began the study of piano. For six years she studied under the watchful eye of her mother, well known in Europe and Asia as an accomplished classical pianist.
After six years, at her mother’s side, Wendy entered an extensive classical music curriculum study at the China Central Conservatory of Music, one of the world’s most renowned schools for classical training. Here she studied with Professor, Madame Zhou Guang Ren, renowned classical concert pianist and instructor.
During her studies at the University of China Central Conservatory of Music, she was very active in a variety of concerts and was the first to play contemporary pieces of solo piano compositions.
During this period she studied for a year under professor Thomas Duis, Headmaster of Saarbrucken Music School. This was followed by study under top talent at the Cologne Music School where she performed two major concerts, still revered for their excellence.
While in residence in Germany, she received her diploma for “Stage Solo Concert Pianist”. She later obtained her Master’s Degree from the University of China Central Conservatory of Music in 2001, with top scores in classical curriculum studies.
